The girlfriend and I went one for the holidays and it was great. Five days with her family another Five with mine and then off to portland, the city that I just can’t stop falling back in love with. Portland how are you so cool even with all your rain and gloomy days? Damn you. I leave you with this song that I found today, its pretty sweet, I hope you enjoy.

The term is derived from Stonehenge, at which the sun aligns with the stones on the solstices. It was coined in 2002 by Neil deGrasse Tyson, an astrophysicist at the American Museum of Natural History. It applies to those streets that follow the Commissioners’ Plan of 1811, which laid out a grid offset 28.9 degrees from true east–west.

I had scoped it out quite a few times, and after 20 different takes trying to miss all the tugboat light streaks, and helicopter light trails i think this one is a keeper. Its funny because this was the last shot I took.
